We reflected back on the first week's lecture when Jim was talking about what the screen actually was. One particular concept he mentioned was that the screen was sometimes treated as a mirror. A reflection of ourselves and the world around us. We might choose to follow through with this concept for our final project.

Roughly, we plan on having a mobile of mirrors spinning gracefully in the center of the room and projectors pointed at the mirrors. The content that the projectors are displaying are still a bit of a mystery to us but we hope to refine it with 3 interlocking themes. Perhaps we will shoot one narrative in 3 different perspectives. We snuck into 3875 and tested a projector bounced off a mirror onto the walls just to check if we could pursue this concept further.



Some things that we noticed is that the mirrors have to be pretty close to the projector to get a decent image. Next test we hope to get a whole bunch of mirrors to test out to see the fragmented video even clearer!

The date... is September 9th, this glorious blog has just been born. We are a group of unique talented individuals enrolled in IAT 443 at the Simon Fraser University Surrey campus. The team consists of:
